Austria Is in Full Corona-Lockdown

This is how it feels like

Obviously the corona-crisis is sweeping through countries, societies and the media alike. Now the bigger part of Austria’s population and politicians have finally woken up to the crisis and strict measures are put into place — this is how the first days of it all feel like.

About me

I’m self employed, working in graphics design and as a texter/writer. I work from home. My grandpa always told me “Have some supplies at home, always — it can’t hurt!”. So being far from a true prepper, I still have supplies for me and my cats at home at all times, that could last me about 3–4 weeks easily. I’m also stocked on toilet paper (phew!), batteries and the bare minimum of “survival gear”. All of that easily fits into a small cupboard and is no big hassle to maintain. It’s a simple case of hoping you never need it, but being glad when you do.

That said, here’s how I experienced the beginning of the lockdown in Austria…
