Congratulations to a long life and many achievements. I’m sorry for your unfortunate circumstances and I can understand your bitterness. But through exactly this bitterness, why would anyone that’s not in total conformity with your views want to read about your life? And that’s the crying shame I meant. You certainly have lots to tell and there is lots to be learned from you, but by butting heads in the very first few sentences of your work, that value is lost to many, only further acknowledging their belief that everyone else sucks.

You even say it yourself. You don’t want them to be around. You deny them the chance to get to know you better, understand your point of view and maybe change, grow. Sure, many are a lost cause, but there are SOME reasonable people out there, even if they are in disagreement with you.

I’m not accusing you and not daring anything. I’m just stating it as a matter of fact, you said it yourself, you only want people that agree with you to read your work, thus you are reinforcing each others already established opinions and views. That is the definition of an echo chamber.

Personally, I don’t care what you do and what opinions you hold, how great or bad your life is or was. I only care about things I personally and we as a society can learn from each other, as this is the only step forward, short of genocide. What to do with people that disagree with you? Educate them or eradicate them (looking back at history, finding examples for both). And I am no fan of the latter. I’m perfectly capable to politely disagree and respect others boundaries, but also expect the same in return.

And about making assumptions, I just react to what you yourself voluntarily put out in your work and I have only read that one piece and seeing all this hatred (it IS hatred if you’re insulting someone on purpose) I have no hunger for more, which is a shame, since you are clearly experienced and knowledgeable, but like you said, you don’t want people around who disagree with you, so you obviously also don’t want their clicks, views, interaction and money, if you’re not interested in educating or changing them. So despite your dire situation you don’t even want their money?

Yes, this world is dying and you know why? Because people all band together in their little tribes of opinions and fight each other instead of overcoming what’s holding us back and working for a sustainable, empathic future, that’s why. If you believe that you can paint people black and white just because they voted a certain way or hold certain views, and ignore the fact that they also can develop, grow and change, you are creating the same problem over and over again you had to suffer through in your life. At least, that’s how I see it.

I hope you noticed that I did not personally attack you and I’d wish for you to return that favor to me. I’ve said everything I had to say, I consciously read what you responded and I thank you for your time. Despite I clearly see many problems in your attitude, I don’t hold any grudge against you (not that you would care) and can to some angle see where you are coming from, and will move on.
