Going Back to Writing After Months
The people who follow my blog (thanks folks!) may have noticed that I didn’t really write that much the past couple of months. Well I did not only not write on Medium, I didn’t write at all. Usually, I write daily. Business correspondence as per usual, but also my many tiny projects, mainly short stories, articles and reviews. I didn’t write anything for about 3 months straight.
Why?
Well I do believe in “write, if you have something to say”. But that also means, don’t if not. I didn’t have much to say the past couple of months. Yes, there’s always a recommendation list to do, some tips to compile, just to “get content out”. But I am not feeling this. I am not sitting down thinking “What content could I produce that I can push, so it makes me money?”
Maybe that’s why I am a bad business person, so don’t take my business advice, ever.
I just feel that our lives, the internet and really everything else is so full of content, regardless of quality. It’s enough. If I don’t think I have something meaningful to contribute, I just don’t. No offense.
There’s plenty of redundant content online, some good, mostly garbage and that is fine. We are all equipped with a brain and some sort of common sense to sift through the trash and pick…
