Based on my own observations and tests over at notebookcheck.com in Multicore Applications the performance on the Ryzen 7 seems to be more than double that of a comparable Intel CPU. Even with severe throttling. I can only imagine what these chips could do if properly cooled!

Personally I’m fine with 1080p on a 14" but I’d also wish for more screen options. I feel like 2K (or around 1440p, or Retina) is the sweetspot for Laptops.
