thank’s for chiming in. I feel you. There’s a rumored MacBook Air refresh coming sometime in 2022, a 15/16 inch version was also rumored, but then again a new rumor said it won’t be coming. So you can never know for sure.

So yes, for those of us who prefer working directly on their Laptop, without external display, the choices in display sizes/power configurations are limited at the moment.

For my part, I chose the Air to use it in clamshell mode on a display with keyboard and mouse, and for “on the road” things, the tiny screen will have to suffice! :) M1 is plenty of powerful for creative writing and 2D-graphics design!
