Thanks for another great article! Still, I disagree - unfortunately. The examples you got, what you asked chatGPT to do, was just a lazy bad prompt. Take your time, feed it a massive 500 word prompt what your story should be about, that you want a twist ending, which tropes to avoid, etc.
If you give chatGPT a good prompt it will create writing that can evoke emotion. Yes a seasoned good fiction writer will still trump that (right now) but every average or just developing fiction writer has a hard uphill struggle against that.
Not wanting to scare anyone. Just trying to tell you you should pay attention to ChatGPT, it will improve and it’s only a matter of time till the margin verweb a good human writer and AI is slim enough for the mainstream audience to not care anymore.
