Why Absolutely Everyone Should Play Persona 5

A masterpiece in every aspect of creativity

Persona 5 Royal recently released on the Nintendo Switch. After having played the original Persona 5 on PS4 back in 2017, I came back to my favorite JRPG of all time. Heck, this might even be my absolute favorite game of all time period.

Personal tastes aside, here’s why I strongly urge everyone who considers themselves to be a creative person, and everyone else regardless, to play Persona 5 Royal.

Graphics & style

While the 3D graphics during gameplay are nothing that makes your jaw drop, it’s all so heavily stylized, it blows my mind, how this can remain such a timeless, dynamic design language. Everything feels energetic and fresh and ties in perfectly with the soundeffects and musical scores of the game. Seriously, if you are a graphics designer, UI/UX designer or just someone who enjoys a bold graphical style, this is for you.

Gotta love the bold artstyle and menu designs.
