You are of course right, the buckling spring switch is the grand daddy of all clicky Switches, good you bring it up. When writing the article I was for whatever reason focused on modern switches, but yes buckling spring switch keyboards — even though technically they are membrane keyboards — are one of the most satisfying experiences for typists, if you can bear the noise. I once had a Unicomp board for testing and it was really really loud. But very satisfying.
